Marco New American Bistro

The food was delicious. Something more than you would spend in a chain restaurant like an Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill, but the difference is worth it. Your menu also says that the kitchen uses local ingredients if possible: you also had some gluten-free and vegetarian options. Great ambience and friendly (attentive service). I'm glad we stopped.

Marco is never disappointed even when my meal ends to go! I appreciate it so that I gave the table I requested so that my braced leg would not be in the way. I'm sorry I couldn't attend the party, but they brought me a great wedge salad!

The food was great. Beautiful selection of foods. The service was superior to most places where I consecrated. Beautiful selection of beers (beer beers) also. Wines. Oh and the deserts were also excellent.

We are frequent guests at Marco 's and feel that it is one of the best restaurants in the Grand Rapids area. They have an excellent eclectic menu and many unique specialties. During our recent visit (1/26/16) our server, Jill, was excellent as usual. She is a very positive facility for Marco 's. That was Tapas Tuesday. The mussels on the tapas menu were exceptionally good (big, just quite spicy, and not overwhelmed with garlic like so many other restaurants like to do! They were perfect! But everything else was great! The duck, Walleye and crab cake were excellent. And I tried the onion soup all over the area and I think Marco is the absolute best.

Marco 's offers cuisine, atmosphere and service that never disappoints. We view Marco 's at the top of our list of dining favorites in Grand Rapids. We 've recommended it to others who have joined us in singing its praises.
