Dukes - Grand Rapids

I came for the first time tonight. with a group of about 6 friends. we went right in and sat at a table. Go to the bar once to order drinks, we were told that all 6 of our IDs were fake and that we were not allowed to be served and have to go. I am a 24-year-old individual with an obvious real license. after this the bartender threatened to go to the bar over the street to get us listed black. funny enough that we went right over and talked to the owner who told us that they had no power to do that. I'll never come back to this facility, I'd give this place a -5 stars if I could. Don't waste your money here.

Duke has stopped on the way back to our hotel and has not noticed a Bouncer. We went right into and to the bar to order a drink before we at a small table near the pool table. They had a few basketball games on their TVs and they have TouchTunes if you want your favorite music. The prices were fair and everyone seemed to have a good time. It was a bit sloppy when the night went on, so we left well before the closing time to go back to our hotel. If you are in the Hampton Inn Suites and want to move out, but not how far, this place is really convenient.

Food is pretty good, environment is decent. One of the younger female servers is a terrible server, it doesn't matter to ask my order for 20 minutes, even I'm sitting right in front of her at the bar. Get some strange poisonous vibes here for some reason, not very comfortable with the crowd. Looks like a place for good old right wing Trump supporters. Not my vibes.

The atmosphere seems like this bar could be and should be fun. The crowd in the night I was there did not match the vibes of the bar. Maybe it was just the night, looking forward to reviewing it again.

Cam into town for the holidays, this bar is still as I remember. Racist...they do have the cheapest drinks I'll give them that.
