Zavala’s Barbecue - Grand Prairie

You can't find better in this area. This barbecue was top notch. They deserve to be on the top fifty in all of Texas. I have had some of the best in my life. I spent a weekend trying top notch barbecue around Texas. This place is up there. Try a piece of everything at this place. Highly recommend. Must try!

So yesterday was my first time trying this place out. The guy said they were about to close and were out of almost everything. So I tried the slice brisket and he threw some potato salad in with it. It was good yall. I came back today before closing and got some more with beans and potato salad and am satisfied. Grand Prairie doesn't have too many good bbq joints but this is one that I stumbled across.

The salt to pepper ratio on the brisket is perfect! Everything is truly amazing there! Zavala’s has made me realize all bbq places should have tortillas and green sauce. Their banana pudding is a must have dessert to finish your meal!”

Very good barbecue the brisket has a nice bark and flavor, the ribs were excellent, and even the smoked turkey had a great smoke flavor. Be aware that the pizza pepper sausage has a kick that builds very flavorful, but spicy! Come early, though they run out.

Not your average bbq.... this is more like Mexi-que!!! It packed some heat! You must try this place. I love everything I had! So peppery delicious! My favorite side was the potato salad! I look forward to their Thursday and Friday night specials!
