Bidra med feedbackThis was my first time trying out this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a bad experience. The beef seemed very old and was not edible, and my daughter's chicken was also not great, although not as bad as the beef. It felt like the food had been sitting for days before being served. Additionally, I would recommend ordering ahead before going, as it is not a sit-in restaurant and there are boxes everywhere. We were not aware of this before arriving.
I want to start by saying that my fiancé is Nigerian, so I regularly eat Nigerian food. I ordered the okra soup with beef and fish for $20, but was disappointed to receive only a small portion in a shallow to-go container. Normally I finish all my amala, but there just wasn't enough okra in this dish. I was very disappointed, especially considering the price. My friend ordered the jollof rice and chicken, which came in a different dish that looked more substantial.
First time trying and my daughters loved it. The plantains were delicious and sweet.
This restaurant is the best in town for West African cuisine. You will absolutely adore it.
Its definitely a mom and pop spot!! We had the fish, chicken and beef it was just okay the jollof rice is really good
