Jakes Burgers And Beer - Grand Prairie

This establishment's overall atmosphere is pretty standard. There's nothing to rave about as far as that goes. However, what they lack in ambiance is made up in their food. The selection isn't expansive, but the burgers we ordered were great. I had the chicken fried bacon burger (add bbq sauce) and onion rings. I also ordered a frozen jalapeño mango margaritas ?. Soo good. The grilled cheese kid's meal my son ordered was mediocre at best, though. Overall, my experience was ok, but my food was excellent.

Awesome service. Good portions for the price. It is slightly above average atmosphere. Overall, it's a great place to go and highly recommend.

I expected a little more from my meals(s). I ordered a poppy seed bun , got the regular bun, took the mistake as an opportunity and was rather disappointed. The bread was dry and crumbly, the chicken fried chicken was seasoned very well. Tried the burger on the poppyseed bun and it was lackluster. Tater tots were overcooked, onion rings tasted greasy. The margarita was amazing! I'll have to try another location next time, I heard Jake's was really good.

Horrible waitress got order wrong and didn't come back until we were leaving. Not friendly and spent most of her time in the back on the phoneignoring us. Definitely in the wrong job. I'll never go

Somebody help me, I keep going back to Jake’s! I got a serious Jonz for the Bacon Bleu Burger and something called a Granny Jake’s Mellon Cake. I tried to hide all this from my wife but she got wise and suggests we go to Jake’s at least twice a week now.That led to me dropping by the bar and going up and down the bar menu sampling everything except the fufu drinks. I still got my pride.No really I spent so much time at Jake’s, I was afraid they were gonna start charging me rent. So now I offset my visits with a “call in” pick up order, and I bring my burger home and polish it off in front of the tube. I still watch TV, I know, I know I should have my face buried in a lap top like everyone else it’s just a sad journey I’m on……but at least I got Jake’s.
