Leon's Mexican - Grand Junction

We love leon’s when we choose Mexican food for lunch or dinner! before the pandemic you could not go wrong with your buffet, but with the restrictions the buffet was replaced by a limited menu. that means they can still all their favorites from the menu and can not go wrong with almost any article! big portion sizes too good! Moreover, the employees of leon’s are simply incredible! they know us with names and now through themselves in masks! They are always so friendly and welcoming when we come and know from heart our drinks orders! if we did not change our minds about what we ordered, they would also know our lunch or dinner order in the heart! if they were looking for high quality food in a friendly atmosphere that has committed to be safe and follow guidelines, they cannot go wrong with leon!

I've been eating here for over 20 years. It's usually with family, so this place is special. The food is always good, and they make accommodations. The owner is a sweet,hardworking person and there is a reason this place has made it through so many economic hardships.

Simple menu. Solid lunch, torta was good. I want to try the chicken enchiladas next time though. Great rice and beans!

The meal wasn't terrible, I had a quesadilla and my husband had tacos. The pork was dry but tasty. The reason I gave it a 3 star review is because the server, while nice enough did not pay attention to us and there was only 3 other tables in the place with 2 servers working. We had to ask for everything, another drink, hot sauce,you name it, we had to ask. At no point did she ask, is there anything else I can get for you? Or anything even remotely similar just came and took empty drinks and didn't bring more until we asked. We may try it again but only if our favorite place is closed again as they were tonight.
