Russ' Restaurants - Grand Haven

I had some special wishes and had everything I looked after very professionally and gracefully. Lauren has made an AWESOME job as a server. She went beyond and beyond to make me feel at home and comfortable. I have eaten alone (which I usually avoid and dislike), but that was different. The food was great. Drinking was perfect! Service was exceptional!

Sit in Lauren's section! She's great. She was really nice to our family and really visited us professionally. Her name band says trainee, but she definitely knows how to be a great waitress. Food was great and prices were very reasonable. They did not seem to increase them during the inflation hike, as we have eaten here every few months when we visit.

Russ' is the best restaurant out there!! The food is always fantastic times ten. Love also the general atmosphere of the place. It's such a domestic feeling. And now that I know they serve muffins... I know what I'm doing next visit (which could never be enough soon).

Meatloaf dinner serving size was a bit small, just a slice, but it was very good. Mac n cheese and the scaled potato sides were great, also served with a warm roll. One of my favorite foods and I will order it again. Not much for the vegetarians just a small soup n salad and potato bar, a vegetarian dinner menu page would be a wonderful improvement...

The food was good, but the service could have been better. There were 18 of us there for a dinner meeting. We called in advance, but they don't take reservations. We knew they had a room in the back, but when we arrived, it wasn't open. Nor would they open it for us. We waited (all 18 of us) for about 25 minutes for a large table to clear. As it was, that table only held 10 so we still had to sit in 2 nearby booths. The staff did nothing special to accommodate us. It was disappointing considering there were so many of us and we knew they had a space we could have used. The customer is becoming less important every day.
