Tajin Elvira - Granada

The place is in the Albaicín neighbourhood near the cathedral. The decor of the restaurant is very unique and beautiful. The staff is friendly and nice. The food is delicious.

Don’t go there! And if you are thinking of going there, just really don’t! I went there with a family member, there were only a few people but we thought to give it a go. We ordered two couscous, a vegetable one and a lamb one, both super dry, very plain, very few vegetables, it looked like it had been done on a rush (to add I am from an algerian background so I have had a fair bit of couscous dish over the years and from my point of view this one was not worth it at all . From a service point of view, there was one main waitress which seemed quite overwhelmed even if the restaurant was almost empty and two other waiters (unsure actually.. constantly coming in and out of the restaurant, the 3 of them screaming at each other endlessly in front of the few customers we were, very odd. At the time of paying, the bill is higher than advertised on the menu, I point it out and 2 of the waiters start arguing it to finally rudely and aggressively agreeing to let us pay prices as per the menu. Overall, food is mediocre, service is mediocre and they try to rip you off.

We made a reservation using the Fork app specifically because this restaurant was offering a 30% discount. When the bill came, we noticed there was no discount. When I inquired and showed the server the discount shown on the app, he tried to ignore it and then told me the discount was 25% when it clearly read 30% . He finally gave us the 30% discount. Not impressed with his attempt at cheating. Food was ok.

La comida es abundante y a buen precio. el local parece ser dirigido por una familia de cultura árabe, por lo tanto en los platos se observa que la elaboración tradicional. destacar el tratamiento cercano y sobre todo la bondad de ambos trabajadores.

La comida era muy buena. sobre el tema de la cantidad bien, no se llena pero no tiene hambre. el menú vale alrededor de 8,50€ arriba el precio bien, pero nos ofrecieron una limonada de la casa que a pesar de ser muy bueno para el toque a la menta o herbena que tiene, tuvo que costar alrededor de 3,5€ o 4€, por lo que el precio final fue suficientemente disparado. De lo contrario, muy buenos trabajadores.
