Bidra med feedbackA great place for lunch or dinner. Chilli, soup, sandwich... Great staff and views.
The Elchwurst, ordered with the cheese fondue, was partly cold, but cold and dry as a cardboard. I threw the fridge out and sent it back. It was absolutely not freshly cooked, and they could not be harassed to properly heat it up. Maybe micro-wave remains are also. Chowder seemed to have filled with so much flour to thicken it, it felt more like porridge than a soup, with a dense, thick taste of nothing, without the coriander or other fragrances that a New England should chowder. I do not expect the best in tourist places, but even for such lowered bars that was quite terrible. Give it at least 2 stars only for the very friendly serving staff who had nothing to do with the cruel food quality. If it hadn't been for them, this would be a star, or 0 if the system left me.
Drove to Timberline for beer and a snack. We had the fondue that was excellent. You give you the opportunity to have a bison sausage for $10.00- Don't do it... It was very small, dry and tasty. The service was good and the Mt Hood brewery beer.
The sand with mozz was so good limfao, the service was drippy, but the ambience (whatever this is) is also good (drippy means kewl)
I am a big fan of Timberline lodge. I get season passes and ski almost weekly. But this restaurant is lucky to even get one star. The place was not busy, it was a Monday night, but the staff was all over the place. Staff was rude, cranky, and sloppy. I asked for a large hot coco, I got a small. My lentil soup was undercooked, and my Mac and cheese came cold.
