L'Ardoise Cafe - Gouvieux

All right! My father and I come here every week. The dishes are slate, cheap and change regularly. The small room (a dozen tables in all) is pleasant. Finally the good mood and sympathy of the bosses is communicative!

The typical Parisian bistro if it is only the service is user-friendly and effective: The products are fresh and well prepared. A great value for a lunch in this business district.

Recently open, this bistro is a good discovery. L'Ardoise is a perfect lunch place. The decor is spartan, modern, with good, quick service and a varied menu. I tried the carpaccio, served with fries and salad from the regular menu but there is also a set menu with three different starters and entrees. The terrace is roomy for more clement weather and I also appreciated the free parking just across the street. A definite yes for a return visit!
