When we finally got settled, we noticed there was an advertisement on the TV for afterwork beers and Bau Buns, but not much else. We had to inquire about the drink and food options ourselves, and learned there were only two choices for the Bau Buns, which were smaller than usual. While the buns were tasty, there was actually more bun than filling. My partner was experiencing Bau Buns for the first time, while I had tried them before, so I thought it would be fun to revisit them. When I attempted to order some wontons and edamame in addition to the Bau Buns, we were informed that we had to wait until the Bau Bun service was completed to order anything else. We decided to order a total of seven Bau Buns, while the other table ordered no more than 15. With no other customers in the restaurant, we waited over 15 minutes for our order. They were enjoyable once they arrived, but again, the bun-to-filling ratio was off. As it was my first visit, I found the service lacking. It felt like I had to work hard to get the staff’s attention and to find out information, which took away from the joy of discovering a new dining experience. In the end, since my partner wasn't particularly fond of the buns, we decided to leave. While it was a disappointing experience, I appreciate the concept and believe that with a bit more care and attention, it could be significantly improved. The overall vibe is laid-back and casual, but staff should still maintain a level of professionalism and provide good service to enhance the customer's experience.

The service was lacking and quite slow, despite the pleasant atmosphere. The food was mediocre; some dishes were overly oily. Overall, it felt overpriced considering the quality and quantity of the food, especially given the level of service we received. The staff rarely made eye contact and it was challenging to get their attention, especially in comparison to other restaurants we've visited.
