Fantastic atmosphere, family friendly country pub with great food and incredible service. Lovely atmosphere both inside and out in the garden, would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed evening out. Service: 5 Location: 5

We were attending a wedding our Neice booked this accomodation for us . On arrival we settled our parents in to their ground floor room were pleasantly suprized, a lovely size lovely bathroom with toiletries etc a lovely well stocked fruit bowl , muffins pasties, plenty of milk portions , tea coffee bottled water We were very impressed . We then went upstairs to our room 6 , What a disappointment One of the worst we have stayed in. Very small with a tiny window which needed a good clean, Carpet very soiled No toiletries in the bathroom, 2 pint bottle of UHT milk unfortunately no fridge to keep it on therefore a waste of time opening it, no coffee sachets only 4 tea bags fortunately I had taken my own , No biscuits unlike like our parents room which had lovely shortbread cookies, we were supplied with 2 bottles of water but no glasses , Breakfast supplied for 2 days for the 2 of us consisted of 3 apples 1 banana , 1 satsuma ,1 croissant 2 twist pastries 1 muffin, We were not sure how old they were therefore didn't consume , We found a lovely little cafe The Milk Shed where we had breakfast just a 5 minute drive away .At the moment we are unsure how much the 2 rooms were the same price , our Neice booked them is away on Honeymoon unaware of how dissapointing it was for us .Awful stay !! Great food, reasonably priced.Really good meal on a busy Friday night. Service: 4 Location: 4

The room itself was clean and large. No reception or contact after hours unfortunately. I had to check in after midnight, and was directed to a lockbox. However It’s -1 outside and the heat is not working at all, and I have no one to contact. Not a good choice if you need a late check-in.
