Le Gout De La Vie Camille - Gordes

I don’t quite know how I feel about this place. My boyfriend and I quickly walked in one rainy afternoon. There are plenty of options on the menu, we chose to have a waffle. The waffle was okay, not the best one I ever had but not terrible. But there was something about the atmosphere we didn’t like. Like, we didn’t feel very welcome or comfortable. Maybe because we just had dessert and didn’t order any drinks? But 8€ a waffle isn’t the shabbiest either, I’d say. All the other tables also got a bottle of water but we didn’t. We weren’t really thirsty so we didn’t order drinks, we’re also not used to getting free water (Belgium) so it’s not as if we were secretly planning on not spending money on drinks and drinking free water. We noticed in other restaurants that it doesn’t matter whether you do or you don’t order drinks. You get the water anyway. We wanted to pay by card because we didn’t know if we’d have enough cash on hand, I saw the table behind us pay by card so I thought it would be fine but the waiter told us paying by card wasn’t possible. We found this really strange but I started doubting myself about the table behind us so we counted our coins and were able to pay cash. Didn’t really leave the place with a good feeling.

Excellent pizza salad, cannelloni w/meat, A small café only seats a dozen or so, cash, no cc. reasonable prices, perfect lunch spot, on main street just down and around the corner from the castle. Recommend for a quick lunch.

During lunchtime I wanted to sit here with my gf. She wanted a salad and I a small ice cream. The waiter told me that the ice cream was not served yet, so I did not want to order as I wasn't that hungry. My gf already had ordered by that time. The waiter told me to order something, otherwise we would not be welcome to eat over here. So we went away. Rude waiter, very rude.

On a fait une petite halte pour une glace , pour ce qui est de la glace, très bonne avec du goût et pour la vanille, pas des arômes, de la vraie vanille .je ne parlerai pas du reste, car nous n'y avons pas mangé.

Plats soit disant faits maison .... pâtes au Pesto (pesto en pot) pizza du genre "sodebo" ... ah j'oubliais "tarte du luberon" faite maison... quelle horreur ... ils ne font pas honneur à la région....
