Bidra med feedbackWe had an early Father's Day dinner and decided to come here. We were very happy with everything that we ordered. The bread was amazing, along with the oli and balsamic vinegar. We had the mozzarella salad, and the cheese bread for appetizers. Both of which were tasty. I had the chicken and prosciutto dish, the lasagna, and the shrimp dish. All 3 of those were awesome. Service was great. Atmosphere was a little tight, but ok.
We all enjoyed our dinner. We started with the meat and cheese plate. It was good, but I would try a different appetizer next time. The salads were all tasty. I had the small Caesar's salad. The dressing was tangy and the croutons were nice and crispy. My dad enjoyed a rich barley soup. I tried the chicken Saltimbocca. It eas really good a full of flavor. The side of pasta with marinara sauce went well with the chicken. The flavors were bright and simple. The deserts were exceptional. My wife and I split the Kahlua Cake. It was rich and with plenty of coffee and chocolate flavors. My dad and stepmother had the spumoni ice cream wedge and mentioned that it was very good. The service was excellent. We were given plenty of time to enjoy each course and she made sure we had everything we needed.
We ate here on July 2, 2022 and we’ll definitely be going back! I had the Chicken Parmigiana and it was the best I’ve had in the Phoenix area! The chicken (very tender) without the sauce was actually very flavorful and with the sauce only got better and the portion was perfect. My wife had the Grilled Shrimp Salad and the shrimp was seasoned to perfection and the salad items were super fresh. All I can say is she didn’t leave enough for leftovers! We feel the prices fell right in with quantity and quality of the dishes. Our server was well trained and very observant to our needs. Her attitude was very enjoyable and we could see she wanted to be there and enjoyed what she was doing! We’re truly happy our friends chose Bella Luna for our dinner spot this night and we’ll be visiting them again!
We were seated immediately. Our waiter was Johnny on the spot. They have a wonderful happy hour menu. We were able to choose our appetizers and wine from the it and shared some of the best lasagna. The noodles were perfect and melted in your mouth. It was a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend you give it a try.
We stopped in for a late lunch, prior to the dinner rush. The food was very good, but the service was slow. Having spent time in Italy I understand meals are a relaxed time to spend with family and friends but that was not the case here. A little more attention to the customer would go a long way. Perhaps it was not the norm and just our server, so I will not be put off yet. Our next visit will tell the tale. I do think everyone should try it at least once and decide for yourself.
