Tico Mex - Golfito

Oh my goodness this was my personal favorite restaurant in Pavones. I wish we had stayed longer to come back, but we will certainly visit again on our next trip. BEST piña colada I’ve ever had in my life. The father wasn’t sure they could make one, but the son assured me he could, and they made it with love. I ordered the Casado with Mexican meat and it was so delicious. Our group ordered burritos biggest burritos I’ve ever seen! I’d highly recommend stopping in here for dinner! There’s also some cute cats that hang out with you on the patio.

Local restaurant with great Tacos (take Mexican meat ones), very friendly owners, clean and top location.

Great little place. Family run business. Some say it’s expensive and perhaps but coming from an island I haven’t found anywhere on the face of the earth I can call expensive. Burritos and tacos on the beach after a surf all day everyday.

This place is amazing, you can’t go wrong, best fish tacos I have ever had, and the same goes for their carne Mexicano, in burrito or taco form ; . The family running the place is lovely. They take credit cards, in case you are wondering.

This is the best Mexican food in Costa Rica. They make everything from scratch. I ordered a quesadilla and she made the tortilla right there before my eyes. It had more chicken than I could eat. There is good people to talk with and it’s a good atmosphere. It’s hard to find this kind of quality back home.
