It’s hard for me to explain I’ve been eating those hotdogs since I was 15 years old maybe a little younger. From the previous owners and the taste still is the same. Straight delicious the hotdogs and the hamburgers and french fries. And also lemonade yum Yum. We now travel from Florida to Goldsboro just to get those hotdogs and hamburgers and fries and of course the lemonade while visiting relatives ,keep up the good work.,

Food Is Still Great Been Eating Their Sense I was a kid, it still had the old back in the day flavor they serve delicious hot cooked while you wait food. Wait time is short the Half An Half, half sweet tea half lemonade is to die for. OMG

Food was good and hot. Customer service was well. Wish there was a dine-in option, but this is a stand outside establishment. Been around Wayne County for years and the people here love it! As do I. Great place in town that is very small, but very convient in pricing and quality. If your ever visiting, be sure to stop by and try the hotdog special with the fry and drink for a very reasonable price! 'Bet ya can 't eat just 1 '

In 40 years on the road, I find great food, more often than not, in the little Hole-in-the-Wall places. You know; the little Mom and Pop joints that are barely getting by when compared to the large, franchise shops. The Sof-T-Shop is one of those places! I have been passing by this place at least once a week, for more than four years now. This past Thursday, it was past lunch time and I was hungry! So throwing away caution, I stopped at the Sof-T-Shop, and I am so glad that I did. I asked the nice lady at the order window if the burgers were good? She told me that if I was not pleased, she would give me my money back. Well.. there's confidence for ya'. So I ordered the double cheeseburger combo, with fries and sweet tea. OMG! I have not had a burger that good from a restaurant in a very, very long time! I mean it people! Look at the photo of that deliciousness! Two tasty beef patties, cheese, pickles and Chili !!! yes.. Chili. Not sure why, but I've never had a burger with Chili. It's Good ! The only thing that could have made this better is if the beef was hand-pattied and had a good sear on them. But hear me.. I'm not complaining! And the Fries; wow! Such a simple pleasure. Perfect fries cooked in fresh, very hot oil that resulted in a crispy outside and tender-tasty inside! yum.. And the sweet tea was just as good. The Sof-T-Shop is just off of I-795, coming into the North-west side of Goldsboro, close to the Army reserve center. If you get anywhere near that area, it is worth the time to stop by and say Hi to the Ladies!
