Bidra med feedbackMe and my kathie went there to eat very good food and awsome service y allie!
The new items on the menu are great including the GOAT Sandwich!! Can't wait to have another!
Brookview is actually cooler because of Three One Six. All the curlers come in between games and afterwards to warm up and celebrate. We’ll definitely check it out next summer after golf for a beer. Food is bar fare, onion rings were solid, chips and guacamole were delicious, and the drink menu has a variety of cocktails along with the full bar. Modern, clean, and welcoming. Space available for probably 20-30 at 8-10 tables and the L-bar of about 12 seats.
What I liked: It’s on a beautiful golf course, seating is either indoors with a bar, or on the nice outdoor patio. We sat inside on a beautiful weather day so the wall of glass doors were open to the patio provided a lovely casual al fresco atmosphere! The reasonably priced lunch menu has a nice variety of; salads, burgers, wraps, flatbreads, wings, and sides. I ordered a $14 chicken wrap that comes with chips, but I asked for the $3 upgrade of Cesar side salad instead. My daughter had chicken strips with side salad, and my mom a BLT and side salad she wanted french fries but they said they were “unable to offer fries today.”What I didn’t like: I asked the waiter (a nice young man who couldn’t be over 18) to bring our side salads out BEFORE the meal. A lady brought my mom’s side salad out …I was thinking she was helping our waiter and he was following with mine and my daughter’s salads. We never saw him again until he brought our food out, and still no salad. Mine came with the chips and my daughter’s with tator tots. This was my first opportunity to ask about our salads, he needed us to remind him of our order. About 10 minutes later our salads were finally brought out, but it wasn’t until after he quickly walked off that I realized they didn’t have any dressing on them, now I’m really getting impatient instead of being able to enjoy my lunch I was constantly looking around for our server who was MIA, (or ANY employee for that matter) to get some dressing. The food was good my mom’s BLT was fantastic with crispy applewood bacon! My daughter enjoyed the chicken strips …and since there were no salads we ate up the tator tots which were very good.Didn’t see our waiter again until the check came, at that point I told him to just take the salads away and remove from our check he seemed confused. Like I said; he was young, probably not much experience, but I couldn’t help becoming irritated as I REALLY WANTED THAT SALAD and it looked REALLY GOOD with homemade croutons and parmigiana shavings!!! If you do go I would love to recommend the Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad, it’s what I wish I’d ordered!Overall: I know since Covid a lot of places are hurting for staff, being under staffed and beautiful weather probably was a factor as I’m sure they were busier than expected, but it wasn’t packed by any means. Would I go back??? The jury is still out I’d probably give them another chance if I was close by as the food was good (not spectacular, but for the price it was good) but I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way Chili’s, Applebees, or Friday’s are comparable alternatives with similar menus and prices.
