Higher Grounds Cafe - Golden

I’m visiting from Texas and I did my own little coffee tour while I was here. This was my fourth and final coffee house and it was the best by far! The ambience and crew are so welcoming. Idk who chose the music but I loved it! The place is very homey and the barista who attended me was so nice and friendly. I had the honey nut mac something latte which was delicious. It might be a seasonal drink though. If you like coffee cake, you’ll love the cinnamon pecan scone. It was delicious. I had a lavender honey iced coffee to go and came back later for a s’more iced latte. Both were delicious. I’m definitely coming back whenever I’m in Colorado.

I was the individual who asked for the fancy cortado and brought my lovable problem child Gita (blue cattle dog mix). Espresso was smooth, the milk to foam ratio perfect. This old barista approves and appreciates a well done cortado. Gracias

The vibes are immaculate. this might seem silly to say too, but the chairs are so dang comfy? they look like your standard restaurant chair but actually have some cushion!! amazing. also the syrups are made in house and the lavender syrup is SO DIVINE. thank you for the great experience and perfect coffee!

Really cute coffee shop in downtown Golden. It looks like an older house and is really neat in the inside. I got a cold brew coffee and wish I would’ve just gotten an americano. The cold brew seemed a little gritty and was a tad pricey compared to other coffee shops nearby. The staff was very friendly too. I would definitely go back, but just get something else!
