Bidra med feedbackThe french toast, biscuits and gravy and pork chili were amazing! Great service too
I called from the hotel and placed my order. I have dietary restrictions which they honored. We got the food to go and didn't tell them we would be sitting outside, but when they noticed they brought us condiments and checked on us. My wife and I agree that the food is delicious.
I just finished breakfast at the Golden Diner. I had the country fried steak with two sunny side eggs and hashbrowns. The diner is a comfortable spot on 12th Street and has been there since 2009. When my meal arrived I was immediately struck by the wonderful aroma. I wasted no time digging into the steak with its gravy topping. I was not disappointed. The steak was lightly breaded and fried providing a crunchiness and a perfect foil to the tender steak. A yin and yang sort of thing. The eggs were basted in butter and cooked to perfection. The hashbrowns were formed into a thick patty and had a crispy brown crust but were soft and moist in the center. They were absolutely delicious. They complimented both the steak and eggs. My only regret about the diner is that it has been in existence for 12 years and I didn 't know about it. I should also mention that even though they were busy the food came out of the kitchen promptly and hot. A rare event in these times of labor shortages. I would like to recognize my waitress, Makayla, who was very busy but always helpful with a smile. As she collected my plate Makayla asked 'Was the food amazing? ' Yes, Makayla it was! I will be back.
Really great food and awesome service. Delicious hash browns, great smothered burritos with tasty green chili. And had the best avocado toast plate ever the other day. Hope they keep that special as a regular.
I tried the Sally's Omelet today and was happily surprised with the whole dish. Everything was fresh prepared 26th the exception being the green chili. Otherwise it was a great dish and I'm thinking that they make everything here even the green chili. Even the sourdough toast seemed like something that was not purchased from elsewhere.
