Bidra med feedbackWe came to this restaurant for dinner with our family of six adults on a Saturday evening. It wasn't very crowded, but I believe that once more people hear about this place, it will become very popular. The food was excellent! I ordered the lamb mezze plate (which could have used a slice of lemon or something tangy) and my partner had the beef burger and chips. I have never said this before, but those were truly the best chips I have ever had. My sister ordered the sticky pork neck and I was envious of her dish, it was absolutely delicious. The papaya salad on the side was also amazing.
The food was perfect, service excellent. Just needs that bit of atmosphere and it's a winner! We were recommended great wine and loved chatting to the team. The NZ mussels were lovely.
Whenever we visit Southport, we always dine at this restaurant. The staff are incredible and cater to all of our needs. The food is mouthwatering and we have never been disappointed with a meal.
This is the kind of place to order a few dishes to experience the chef's amazing skills. And to think we almost did't walk in to possibly the best restaurant in the area. Something about the decor doesn't quite hit the mark (too bright and intimidating for introverts?). Hopefully that can evolve.We tried the Elderflower and lychee martini and Tom Yum gimlet for our cocktails. Both were lively and deliciously moorish.For meals we had the Ahi poke, which was fresh as you can get and tasty to boot. Also the sticky pork which was perfection in taste and portion size. Before the meals came out the chef delivered a small bruschetta dish featuring heirloom tomatoes. This was really impressive as it was delicious and made us feel quite special to meet the chef. I should also mention the waitress was very attentive and personable.In summary; great food and service with tasty fun cocktails.
