Sagano - Gold Coast

Much too much tweak in two of our dishes. complex and subduing. the session was uncomfortable. the food was badly presented.

Bento Box lunch was ok. sensible and good size serve but slow service with only 1 waiter service all tables.

Partner and I were on jagd after Japanese eating and decided to go to this place on a laune after a fast google and were blown away. all the staff were amazingly friendly, especially our waiter, who even gave us some free flavors...if we didn't know what was on the drinks menu and eating was exceptional. blew any other culinary experience in surfer is from the water. 5 stars round.

The Ael-Bogeno box is terrible. only 4 tiny slices of aal on the rice. the aal pieces are so small and not even big enough to enlarge unagi nigiri. the traditional Japanese arc of the aal should be a big piece to cover the...rice box. the aal don was a super torn. it is designed to deceive people from another culture, so they do not know what an aal bento should be

This restaurant serves genuine local Japanese cuisine. The flavors are truly authentic. I will definitely be returning soon to sample more items from the menu.
