Bidra med feedbackMy friends and I went to this restaurant for lunch and each ordered the corn fritters. What we received was a single corn fritter each with a small side salad. It was not a budget-friendly meal and we left feeling disappointed. I would recommend avoiding this place unless you have no other options.
On Tuesday 23/5/2023, we arrived at the restaurant later in the afternoon around 3 pm. When placing our order, we inquired about the lamb in the souvlaki and whether it was cooked with charcoal, as we prefer the traditional taste that this method provides. We were informed that it was indeed cooked with charcoal, so we ordered one with chips and a small bottle of water. However, we found the price of $34 to be expensive for what we received. Despite sitting outside and waiting, after 20 minutes I had to go back inside only to find that our order was already waiting. We were seated right in front of the counter, but no effort was made to bring the food out to us or call us over. This seemed strange, especially considering there were no other customers in the shop. The souvlaki turned out to be very small, the lamb was not cooked with charcoal as promised, and appeared to be simply reheated on a grill. It lacked any spices or texture, leaving the meat bland and grey. The pita bread was soggy and cold, adding to the disappointment. The seasoned chips were okay, but cold. Overall, the service, quality of the souvlaki, portion size, and price were all very disappointing.
I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. I ordered a mixed Souvlaki and Greek potatoes, they were amazing! The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place!
I booked the whole restaurant out for a 70th birthday party on a Sunday night. The location was great ,opposite the Broadwater. It was a relaxed atmosphere chatting over drinks until all 33 people arrivedYou could order at the bar or BYO wine..It was cosy inside on a winters night. They also have a delightful deck out front perfect for day time or summer evenings. We did not have to preorder and I was concerned when everyone placed their orders we would have a long wait. But no,the meals were brought out table by table with calm efficiency and certainly no long wait. The menu was extensive offering so many authentic Greek dishes. The meals were delicious.I had the slow cooked lamb shoulder and it was divine.People who had moussaka said it was the best they have ever had.The list goes on.We used their yummy Greek desserts instead of a cake and everyone had a taste. With only two in the kitchen and two waiting table and serving drinks, they put on a great night for us.I can highly recommend Paris Corner Greek Taverna and I would happily book it out again for a function.
Can't believe some of the recent reviews here. Have just enjoyed the most amazing experience with my wife for dinner. The taramasalata was divine and the Aegean Bake had us thinking we were back in Greece. Beautiful hosts. What an evening. Thankyou.
