Levendis Souvlaki & Mezzebar

I have been coming here for a few months on a regular basis for lunch. Every time I have been, the staff are friendly and the menu is really tasty. I now have my favourite that I order (chicken with haloumi souvlaki) which is consistently without doubt tasty and using fresh ingredients. If you want something quick and easy (mines always takeaway but they do have dine in) which doesn’t compromise the flavour and is a cheap eat in my books I would definitely recommend this place. Having eaten so many amazing gyros in crete last year I thought it would be very difficult to find a similar quality in aus, let alone surfers! Levendis traditional chicken gyros reached that level with ease. Fresh salad, a warm homemade pita and delicious tzatziki combine with friendly service to make this restaurant a must if you love greek food.

The feta cheese chips with oregano are amazing!The chicken souvakis are a little like a kebab you'd get after a night out, quite greasy - great if you like that kinda thing. They're also quite small for the price. Pita and tzatziki - it is what it is. You cant really go wrong with it. Not the best Greek food ive eaten. Wouldn't rush back.

Went here whilst on honeymoon and was overall very disappointed. I had the chicken kebab which was full.of chewy fat, and my husband had the lamb which he said was ok. Overall poor experience as service was lacking also. I wouldn't eat there again.

We dined here for an easy meal and found the food very tasty, we shared a plate and had some mushrooms on the side, our first greek food experience and it was healthy delicious and light but fillling!
