Charlie's Pizzeria - Gold Coast

I was pleasantly surprised by my dining experience last night. I booked a table online at 6:30 for 7:15pm through Google, which was nice and easy. The service was friendly and the greeting was welcoming. I ordered a 1L lychee sangria, which was sweet and fruity. For mains, we had Combination Dinner #7 with chicken enchilada, chicken taco, Spanish rice, and chilli con carne, as well as #12 with beef enchilada, beef taco, and Spanish rice. The plates were scorching hot, and even though I was warned, I accidentally touched it and felt a sharp pain. The dessert was fried banana, which was delicious and I highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. They serve delicious Mexican food and drinks at affordable prices. On Mondays, kids can enjoy a free meal, drink, and ice cream with the purchase of an adult meal, which I think is a fantastic offer. The restaurant is usually not too crowded for dinner, although it can get a bit busy at times. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is delivered promptly and tastes amazing.

The staff was wonderful! I enjoyed the portion sizes and flavors. This is now my favorite Mexican restaurant.

Will order both of these again: Tamale pie at the top and Mole Pablano at the bottom. Tamale pie 8.5/10 the filling was great, loved the raisins. Mole pablano 9/10 The banana and pineapple were unexpectedly good with the mole.

We had dinner Saturday night, very busy and didn't have parking but you can park on the side street. The food was amazing, I wanted to try something different so I got the spicy pina colada and mole poblano.. highly recommended, the cooked banana was so tasty and pineapple goes so well with chicken and rice.
