Bidra med feedbackCafe Marina relocated to this new area about 1 year ago. A well-known Italian restaurant , famous for its authenticity with all things Italian. Our large wine and food aficionados group lunched here recently. Our entire Italian meal plus wines was superbly organized. Creating and cooking , serving this cuisine was handled well and delicious.Pleasant, efficient staff attended to all our needs.CM sits in a busy shopping area and surrounded by a large busy car park and shops. Not overly full at lunchtime, probably due to the many small cafes in same area?On public transport route and plenty of car parking. Our 3 course meal with bruschetta, Italian beef/ chicken cuisine plus homemade Tiramisu was exceptional! All Italian red and white wines complemented our luncheon.
Recognising the sign, I soon realised that this was my old favourite Italian restaurant which had once been located in Marina Mirage. A one year holiday and the family was back with the same authentic Italian menu, generous portions, fair pricing, and gregarious and professional staff. It doesn't look like much on the outside of a shopping centre, but the ambience inside is quite lovely. We will be back.... again, and again, and again. Good authentic Italian is hard to find. What a fabulous addition to our neighbourhood.
Wedged between Aldi and the toilet entrance with a view overlooking the car-park I was apprehensive and my fears were born out. This was an awful dining experience. My meal was a soggy, soft, tasteless piece of fish that I would have been ashamed to cook for ~ $35 and nothing my other 5 companions were served looked good.
Had a takeaway pizza from here a few days ago (reward for a busy day!) and it was amazing! We shared a capriosca and it was enough for the three of us. We will definitely be returning out of work hours soon to see what else they have on offer! It will never cease to amaze me how chain pizza stores exist when there are pizzas this good!
We are so excited to have a 5 star quality restaurant in our little part of Southport. We came on recommendation of a neighbour and so glad we did.We were welcomed fondly and treated as valued friends of the restaurant even though visiting for the first time. Service was impeccable, non intrusive but attentive. We ordered the garlic bread, veal fungi, pollo rosciola, tiramisu (faboulous by the way) and tartufo.Meal sizes were generous and wish I could cook like that at home!!Can't wait to go back next time and sample the pasta dishes.BYO was a hit with very reasonable corkage. Meal prices were appropriate to the quality of food and dining experience. Can't wait to bring our neighbours with us next time.
