Mantra Cafe - Gokarna

Mantra café is a part of Zostel which is totally different than other zostels that I have heard about. It’s a big beautiful property overlooking the Kudle beach. The cafe is very lit and with lovely music, it’s a place to hang. Caters to both non vegetarian and vegetarian clients. It’s on the kudle beach road, Gokarna which is off Om beach road. The road is a very isolated road and in a bad condition. As we came after sunset from kudle beach, the drive was kinda scary and with the road condition being bad, a bit irritating. The moment you enter the property, however, it’s a totally different world. The menu is very limited for food. We ordered a Trippy Shrooms Pizza, blue frost mocktail and a virgin guava Mary mocktail. Pizza 3/10 Blue frost 5/10 Guava Mary 5/10 Aesthetics of the place is very nice but food is just average. Staff is nice and friendly. Loved each and every moment over there. I would say service is a bit slow but it was worth waiting with the amazing view which you get in that place.Food is good. Some might feel the flavours in Cocktails overpower the whole drink. Overall I had an amazing experience. Beach view from the cafe is very stunning . We had Chipotle sauce pasta, paneer ghee roast, paneer tikka pizza all of these items were delicious. Drinks were not up to the mark(Belgium dark chocolate, water melon juice, KitKat milkshake). Service: Dine in Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
