Bidra med feedbackSamuels bistro is our restaurant in goderich, if thyme on 21 is not open, or, as last Saturday, it only offered out call. when we stayed at the samuels hotel, it was sensible to have cooked our meal in the hotel kitchen and served in our room. my wife and I both had the seafood fliluccine alfredo; our son had the duck jam. everything was just as it should be.
During our stay at the hotel, we enjoyed a delicious meal in the garden room patio. We tried the goat cheese salad, seafood fettuccine, and peri peri chicken. For dessert, we had the sticky toffee pudding with local apples, which was absolutely amazing!
We hadn't dined at Samuel's before, but decided to give it a try. We ordered the pistachio crusted meal for four, which was a great value. One of our group was gluten-free, and they were able to accommodate with a gluten-free option at no extra cost. We all enjoyed our meals, sides, and desserts and would definitely recommend it. We plan on returning to try the fish tacos. The food was excellent!
The choices were somewhat limited, but the quality was good. good cocks. local sweetheart was good, but everything overpriced.
We don't visit Goderich as frequently as we used to, but when we do, we always dine at Thyme on 21. This has been our go-to restaurant since Bailey's on the Square was destroyed by a tornado. Since Thyme on 21 is closed on Mondays, we tried Samuel's on the recommendation of friends. We enjoyed our meal there back in 2016, and we were even more impressed this time. Similar to Thyme on 21, Samuel's creatively utilizes local and imported ingredients. My cream of celery soup was perfect, and the seafood fettuccine was excellent. Our friends started with the Mediterranean platter, and both ordered the salmon and Panko fried turkey as their main dishes. Everyone was very satisfied, and we look forward to returning again.
