Bidra med feedbackWe always make a point to visit this place when we are in Goderich and Port Albert. This charming mini golf course features animals for the children to enjoy. While the course may be a bit worn down, it doesn't stop us from having a great time.
Point Farms Market offers a unique combination of a small food business, a chip car, an ice bar, and a mini-golf course. My favorite parts were the ice bar and the mini-golf course, although the food could be improved and the final hole on the course was disappointing. Overall, it's a fun place to spend some time.
Beautiful street side minigolfplatz. a fine selection of ice in a well-stocked mini mart. even a poutine provider outside. pretty charming family fun.
We played minigolf for a zunie each — a large amount — and had some of the riders that are now offered. you can also buy poutine if you want. the riders are hand-cut and pretty good. the minigolf is a lot of fun, though. I am a moderate player. our son has won: no surprise. there were many people around the place in dinner hour; many gave ice, we had no time for that.
We live nearby and had heard that Tuesday is Toonie Tuesday where you can play mini golf for a toonie and/or buy a scoop of ice cream for a toonie. We took our great grandchildren for ice cream. It was a nice size scoop and...they have a LOT of flavours. It is Chapman's ice cream which, although not local, is made in Ontario. Personally I don't find it has a lot of flavour. I had rum and raisin with no rum taste and maybe 5 raisins in the scoop. There were some very colourful flavours and the kids (and my husband) enjoyed it. If we hadn't had a 2 year old with us we would have tried the mini golf. Will probably go back. There is a bit of a playground which the kids enjoyed. There is a chip truck there as well. The store itself seemed nicely stocked with things a camper would need or want. It is almost across the road from the entrance to Point Farms Provincial Park where there are a lot of campers. This place is family-run and I wish them all the best.
