Park House Tavern & Eatery - Goderich

I am not sure which city the Park House Burger is considered the best in, but it is definitely not one that I have visited or would want to visit. The burgers were made with low-quality supermarket freezer patties that were bland and tasteless. While the toppings were decent, the extra charge for items like bacon and cheese seemed unnecessary, as they were the only flavors that stood out. The fries were passable for a single cook, but a double cook would have been expected. The Caesar salad was disappointing, made with wilted romaine lettuce. They did have a good selection of beers from three local breweries, although if you are not a fan of IPAs, you may be disappointed. I saw some people ordering the fish and chips, which looked decent but overpriced for what you get. Overall, if you enjoy a frozen beef patty, then the Park House Burger may be the best option in town for you.

We were in goderich last Sunday for the celtic roots festival. I enjoyed my lunch (proch tacos) on the terrace, but they had less than half the beer that were listed. also, our server was not very friendly or welcoming - not exactly rude, but I expected a better setting.

The staff at the restaurant was excellent and attentive. The food options were great and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Definitely recommended for a visit.

This restaurant has become our favourite dining place when visiting Goderich. The seafood platter was excellent. The seafood was cooked perfectly, My wife also enjoyed her fish and chips. Price is reasonable, staff friendly and good food.

I have dined at the restaurant for the past 20 years and rarely had any issues. However, this evening was a totally different visit. We had to wait 1-1/2 hours for our dinner. Three of us ordered salads with a meat topping. My wife who...cannot eat onions or cucumbers got her salad with both of these items us her chicken topper was forgotten and then served Another salad was ordered with a fish topper and the fish was not cooked throughout. Another order of fish with rice came with fries and the rice was delivered after he had finished his meal. The server blames short/inexperienced staff plus they we very busy. The owner should have cut ba k on letting people in to prevent over booking. So our dinner experience lasted 2 hours.
