Chuck's Roadhouse Grill - Goderich

I called and tried to order for pickup and was placed on the counter for 10 minutes, so I called back and nobody answered. I then placed the order online, and the website told me the location I was picking was 7.2km away from me. Time goes by to the pick up time, and my friend is there being told that the location never received a paid for order, and that it was filled at another location 40km away. The website now updated and said that the location I had ordered from was 40km away. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager who complained I was yelling at him, when I apologized that I was speaking loudly due to the loud atmosphere around me. I explained, and he said that because it was paid for, it he couldn’t do anything. I tried to ask what would happen if I placed the order on the phone and had not paid for it first, and didn’t pick it up, and he hung up on me. My friend called a few minutes later, and he did not let her get a word in at all, and kept saying that it wasn’t his problem that the website messed up and that the food was paid for, and that her friend “me”, was over reacting. This behaviour was extremely unprofessional for a manager of an establishment with such a highly rated reputation. Frankly I was disgusted by the way this was handled. My friend drove 40 minutes to pick up the cold food, and was met with zero apology or explanations from said manager. Would not recommend the management staff here if it’s the same guy working on November 10th 2023 dinner rush. Shame on you dude.

Our garlic bread with cheese was buns with cheese on them, my ceaser salad tasted like the dressing had been watered down, my fish was overcooked, my daughter’s parm noodles were burnt with very little parm. We waited at the door to be seated for like 10min and there were tables open. Service completely sucked. Never going there again!

Horrible customer service! Order a steak came to table cold. Called waitress over to let her know. Response was I don’t know why. She took steak and came back and asked if wanted put back on grill. They put on grill and brought back same way. Response was same. Don’t know why that would

The food and service was good. My friend had the fish and chips with 2 pieces of fish... It was a large serving. I had the Chicken BLT sandwich and it was also tasty. Overall a great lunch

Our food and service here were good,However it is hard to carry on a conversation when the atmosphere including the music is too loud.
