Grand Dining Room - Glynn County

I am not usually a buffet type BUT the Grand Dining Room Buffet was wonderful! Everything was so fresh and so very delicious! We met the dining room Chef and he could not have been nicer or more pleasant to talk to. Ofcourse the dining room is beautiful which added to the ambiance.

We are coming for the brunch since 25 years almost every year. So we were very pleased when we heard that the brunch is on again after they stopped it because of Covid. But what a dissapointment. The dinning room has been painted in very dark colors, the new furniture doesn't really fit the style of the room. But most dissapointing was the food. The quality was only average and the selection almost cut in half. At noon they we're already out of a few items like their famous Key Lime Pie. $65 plus a mandatory 20% service charge seems to be way overpriced for what they offer. However the service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere of the entire hotel is still amazing.
