The Roastery Coffee House - Gloucester

So glad I found this place! an oasis in an opposite of not much. great coffee and very friendly staff. looks like many delicious cake options too. will definitely be back.

Lovely coffee shop with the best cakes, also a savoury selection. The staff are helpful and friendly, and there is a great atmosphere.

I’ve visited The Roastery many times and have never been disappointed. I’m always met with a friendly welcome and the service always seems personal. The food and drink are always delicious and the new revamped menu is excellent. Gloucester is slowly being taken over by Costas so having The Roastery standing here as a bastion of light against the corporate take over is fantastic. Really good to have an independent local coffee house. Coffee is good too, as are the freshly made smoothies, cakes and Sarnies. The decor has taken the popular industrial theme, and the atmosphere is nice for a solo reader or a group chat. The cafe sources as much stuff foods and furnishings from local suppliers as possible. Would be improved further with a bigger premises with more distinct seating areas. Hopefully this is just the beginning.
