Bella Italia - Gloucester

I was disappointed with the portion size of the food at this restaurant. Be cautious as the vegan menu does not have any prices listed. Another important point to mention is that a "half moon pizza" is actually just half of a regular pizza. We were surprised to receive only half a pizza along with a small salad for the price of 12.49. I was so shocked that I took a photo. I suggest Bella Italia display prices on their menus and website and change the description of the "half moon pizza" to clarify that it is just half a pizza. Despite these issues, the food was enjoyable and there was a good vegan selection. I would consider returning.

I recently dined at this restaurant and enjoyed the delicious starters of shrimp and calamari. The pizza was tasty, although the crust was not as crispy as I would have liked. The pasta dishes had great flavor and I tried a variety of them, all of which were enjoyable. The drink selection was good, with some tasty cocktails that were a nice change from the usual soft drinks. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.

This restaurant is disappointing and overpriced. It's no surprise they offer so many discounts and vouchers, especially with the casino tickets. The full price is too high for the quality of food. The house wine is subpar for an Italian restaurant, and at £6 for a large glass, it's not worth it. The palma dolcelatte dish was a terrible value at £11.49 for a small portion of tagliatelle with cheese sauce and a piece of palma ham. To top it off, the strawberry pannacotta I ordered was tiny and overpriced at £6. Overall, a disappointing and overpriced experience. See attached images for comparison.

It was a nice clean restaurant at the pier service was good. The food was also pretty good as well.
