The BEST place in Gloucester and probably Cape Ann. From food to service and the beautiful atmosphere, Tonno is the place to be. I have dined here a handful of times and I can’t say enough about the staff, especially the Manager Joe. Laid back, down to earth and a complete professional. As far as food, if you don’t know what to order, don’t worry. Order something and you’ll love it and next time (because you will be back), try what you wanted before. Enjoy and enjoy again. We certainly did.

I went in to get a menu for the possibility of trying this place. The hostess was spot on. knowledgeable of everything (young blonde girl).. So We went the next night, AMAZING, SO GOOD, I've already made reservations from when I am in town in July.I had the Tuna steak,!!!!

I was so excited to come here for my boyfriends birthday with his family after hearing so many good reviews. I was so disappointed after my apps were burnt and drinks took 30 minutes plus the whole time we were there. My boyfriend ordered veal saltimboca and got chicken yet I was still charged for veal and it was never offered to be fixed. I ate about 3 bites of my risotto. The shrimp were overcooked and the risotto and peas were hard. I’ve never left a review on a restaurant let alone a negative one but after spending 250$ I’m disappointed to say the least. Save your money.

Matthew J. was such a great server!! Kind, funny, and personable! Our table of three came to celebrate Mother’s Day! We got the gnocchi, bolognese, and Sunday sauce! Highly recommend checking out Tonno!
