Bidra med feedbackOnce in awhile I crave for sashimi and sushi and my husband took me here for our Valentine's day! I was stunned by the freshness! Not only it is tasty and good, it has a lot to offer besides sashimi- for those who cannot stomach raw fish. Theplace is modernly neat- you'll get comfortable for a date! Please try and enjoy!
Our first time here definitely won 't be our last! Heard about this location from a co-worker and that it was the best of the Blufish locations. We arrived on a Monday night and were greeted by a very friendly staff who clearly cared that our dinner datewas a great experience. seated in a booth, our waiter Matt was awesome, pacing our experience perfectly. We began with drinks, Ihad a beautiful Aviation (complete w/ flower petal) while my girlfriend had a pear cider in a chilled glass. My drink especiallywas worth writing about, beautiful balance of flavor and alcohol. After left with our drinks for a bit we ordered an appetizerof edamame. It came quickly, and was a good size, though it could have used a bit more salt. One we had finished this, weordered our Maki. They have a nice selection of sashimi and sushi, with many of the latter being unique combinations I have notseen before. We ordered a Veggie Maki, Crunchy Muffy, and Smokey Bear. All of them were delicious, easily some of, if the notthe best, sushi either of us have had. The Veggie Maki was larger than most other restaurant 's offerings, and beautifullylayered with avocado. The Smoky Bear was equally delicious. Not often a fan of raw fish, the seared salmon atop this rolls wasphenomenal, as was the tempura shrimp in both rolls. We finished eating just as the restaurant was closing, but were not rushedout, and had a nice conversation with the desk staff as we exited. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I 've had ina long time. The amazing food was heightened by the delightful service. My girlfriend specifically said, 11/10, wouldrecommend . Indeed, I would recommend this to anyone, and can 't wait to return!
Food is good. Carryout has been consistently sloppy throughout pandemic. Poor cuts on rolls, uneven. Patron from day 1. Sometimes places get bigger and popular, and some services go down. Some of staff is not as welcoming and friendly as in thepast.
They gave me pork gyoza instead of veggies and it ruined our appetite altogether. Instead of offering a complete refund, they acted like we inconvenienced them. Our family is vegan so it was disgusting to receive an order of pork of all meats. Notprofessional. $40+ wasted.
The time that I went with my family I did not have a very good dining experience. It took over 40 minutes to get our food and we were the 2nd group that arrived when they opened. The hostess seem to really have a rude manner. The waitress tried her best tohelp us. Overall the food was good. The speed of the service was not very good being a sushi place. Overall I would notrecommend this place for dinner but for lunch I have had good experiences so go for lunch!
