Glenelg Spices

I visited this restaurant with my husband and son. The restaurant was clean and pleasant. The service was good and the food was delicious, although I found the curry laksa to be a bit too sweet for my taste.

This place is not fancy, nor are the same staff. However like the staff the food is modest ( and tasty). Drinks are limited but it is licensed.

On a cold, wintry night we decided to try Spices for our evening meal. The staff were pleasant and the meal was enjoyable - if not quite as spicy as we would have liked..

Called on a Friday evening without reservation, we were greetd by a smiling, friendly face who showed us to a table for 2 - the restaurant was busy, which is always a good sign. The food was sensational, wine list reasonable and service excellent. A really good experience and will return.

I used to visit quite often and it had a good range of Thai food which was delightful. Unfortunately it has changed ownership and style, the range of food is minimal compared to what it was, and not of really good quality, staff were good and efficient. Food is now Vietnamese in style but again a minimal range. Very disappointed
