The Village Eatery - Glendora

The noise level is unbearable; the acoustics are so poor that it's incredibly unpleasant, and I found myself wanting to leave as quickly as possible. It really spoils what should be a nice, peaceful Sunday morning. The food was decent, but it's simply not worth the terrible service and the chaos. During my last visit, against my better judgment, I found the experience to be just as frustrating. There were two other diners who had to wait even longer than we did, and they ended up getting their orders much later. My California Omelette was disappointing as well. What's particularly amusing is that they've even included an automatic apology for their poor service on the menus. It goes something like, “If your food takes a long time, we apologize for our little kitchen.” What a joke!
