Old Chicago Pizza Taproom - Glendale

Great place to get a good piece of pizza. The crust options are pretty good, with Chicago style, ale crust, on the back deep plate and thin crust. Service was fast, and food came out relatively quickly. Beautiful selection of beers on tap and they have Xbox and Wii at the bar. Nice touch. The next time in town would go back.

I forgot about this place for awhile, the food is great, good atmosphere, friendly staff, I will definitely be back for another calzone!!

Best place for wings and chicago style pizza. Great beer selection too and deals throughout the week.

Our server Kent was exceptionally friendly and outgoing. He was incredibly patient with my indecision and even offered several samples of different beers for me to try. He was well-informed about the history of Chicago pizza. The onion rings were enormous, expertly prepared, and had a big flavor without the greasiness that you often find at other places. The deep Chicago 7 pizza was simply outstanding. The cheese was gooey, and the toppings were piled high.

The restaurant offers a variety of wings and numerous customizable options for your pizza. The food was quite delicious. The salad, in particular, stood out for being very fresh and leafy compared to other places. The appetizers offered are diverse, and the prices are reasonable. Initially, as I left, the place didn't seem particularly remarkable. However, after sitting down and having a warm interaction with our waiter, the atmosphere shifted and felt more vibrant, reminiscent of the streets of Chicago. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly; he took the time to share stories about different beers and their names. Despite a few items being out of stock due to a busy rush, he handled it all with kindness and courtesy. Even the manager stopped by to greet us and ensure we were enjoying our meal. Overall, it turned out to be a delightful experience.
