Haldi Indian Cuisine - Glendale

This is my new favorite Indian restaurant! We ordered the lamb rogan josh and madras chicken curry. The flavor and spices and blended beautifully. We ordered it medium which I?m sure was still on the lower end of heat but it still had a kick. You taste all the flavors and spice before the heat kicks in. It was delicious! Will be back again soon.

We have been to Haldi a few times since it opened and it has been wonderful each time. Sam the owner was very gracious with my lack of knowledge of Indian cuisine and helped us to learn what we might like. Butter Chicken is the standard and their version is delicious. We had the Gulab Jamun over rice Kheer for dessert and it was amazing. Looking forward to our next visit already.

I had been curious about this place. The Naan bread was absolutely delicious. There was an upgrade option to add other ingredients to the bread. I chose garlic. The lunch portion came with a salad but there was no dressing. The chicken was a little too overcooked which made it dry and the curry was okay. The pastries was delicious and the dipping sauces were a perfect pairing. Not returning any time soon.
