Bidra med feedbackDon’t recommend coming here. First, the quality of the meats is very low. I have been to the oxnard location and they are 10x better. The pickled cucumber is soggy, the onion is old and not fit for serving. They also try to 5$ per plate of food wasted which is fine. But then limit your table to 4 orders per round. it’s not the same as other franchises, even though it’s AYCE. Wouldn’t come back to this location and do not recommend. It’s obvious by the little crowd that is here that the food service is not good
I've been to two other Gen locations and this one is definitely one of my favorite ones.Two of my friends and I came here on a Saturday afternoon, and as long as you put your name and phone number down in the waitlist, things run smoothly.The staff is friendly and serviceable, the food is delicious and the ambiance is super chill and nice.I specially liked how they ask periodically if you'd like to place another order of meats or side dishes for the table. Truly very attentive people.Bulgogi and galby are always my go-to in these places. Highly recommended.
The food is always delicious and on point. The staff pay attention to you and are always ready to bring you want you want but they don’t hover over you. I’ve been a few times and I always have a great experience.My only two complaints… the rest rooms have never been attended to correctly when I’ve visited. In fact I didn’t post a photo of the men’s toilet because it was too gross. The manager should really keep better tabs on keeping it clean.The second thing seems minor but it takes away from the experience. Sitting in the booth near the door, the sun was shining so bright in my eyes that I couldn’t look at other people on my booth. A simple scroll screen could take care of this. Again, I realize it seems minor but it truly detracts from the overall experience.Parking: Directly across the street is a parking garage. I think we were there for about 3 hours and it cost a dollar.
The service was mediocre they didn't check on us very much and that was slow bringing out the meat one of the burners kept going off and I couldn't figure out how to keep it going. So it took forever to cook the meat for eight people on one burner. The servers were pleasant enough just not as helpful as we would have hoped forFood: 4/5
I've been coming here for 3 years, recently they got a B on their food safety rating. look it up. Servers are always excellent, but on my last visit the premium steak was cut by a 9 year old and the marinated meats had way more fat and much stringier fat than ever before. They cut quality down on everything but the brisket, which is not unscathed as now it's cut much thicker for whatever reason. I woke up morning after sick, which has NEVER been a problem for me. I have an amazing immune system, I've eaten raw chicken and felt better than today. No alcohol last night. Staff is nice, atmosphere is great but unfortunately I will not ever be coming back here, as the problem seems to be systemic from the top down. So disappointing.Vegetarian options: Very few, not recommended for vegetarians. It's a meat place 100%.Kid-friendliness: Accomodations are nice and staff are unbotjered by very young babies.Parking: Parking garage across the street is very inexpensive and very safe.
