We went and had lunch today and Jace was amazing! The food was okay but the waiter was the best one we have had in a really long time! Such an amazing attitude and great customer service!! Kudos Jace!! ??

Some of the best ribs I have ever had. Very generous portions. The staff was so sweet, helpful and amazing. Every time I come to Glen Rose, I want to come here.Kid-friendliness: Great safe place for kids.

If you've never been here, please plan a day and go. It's a drive and out in the middle of nowhere. Get yourself a drink, bucket of beer or whatever and get your name on the waitlist because you will wait to eat. It's so worth it though! I always get catfish (1 piece) fries and slaw and am happy happy! If you leave hungry, then that is your fault because portions are always huge. The food is good, the staff is amazing! Just gooooo already!!!! You won't regret the trip!Kid-friendliness: There is so much land for the kids to run around on. They can run and play while you wait to eat. Corn hole boards are available. I've never seen a kid not having fun out here.

This is the best place we have ever eaten. It's an awesome experience more than anything else. There were so many people there that we had a 45-minute wait. There are tables and chairs outside that waiting people can sit at. Children have much space to run and play, and also a must is that it is dog friendly. The food is outstanding, but it is such a small part of the total experience.

Loved it! Sliced brisket, smoked turkey, and ribs were perfect. It was raining hard when we were there and the big windows made it fun anyway. I bet on a good-weather day this place is a hoot.
