Bidra med feedbackSuper rude staff- made us feel super unwelcome for coming in with school aged children. Told us we couldn't order pizzas to share, everyone needed to order a meal, and we couldn't push two tables together. Definitely never going back there again, kids or no kids.
Im a foodie i dont mind paying $26 for a GOOD meal...BUT i was hoping for an authentic italian meal, BUT the Chicken parm tasted like 2 pieces of processed frozen breaded chicken from my local grocery store topped with sauce and cheese, the pasta reminded me of the bagged pasta at Jewels you boil in water serve the Alfredo sauce tasted like cream that had parm cheese thrown in. I wouldn't recommend this place wouldn't go back. The lady who answered the phone, took my order cashed me out acted like I was ordering something unheard of and noone has ever ordered it and seemed annoyed...i brushed it off.....Chicken Parm with Fettucine Alfredo uncommon at an Italian restaurant? I brushed it off but after reading others comments it's clear this may just be her normal demeanor.
Not kid friendly don't waste your time going to this restaurant. Even though the patio seems like a great place to have a family dinner, the owners are aggressive and rude. They came by and took the grated cheese from my two year old daughter claiming she could break it even though we were watching her. The moment she stepped foot out of her chair I felt like hawks (owners) were watching her every move. It's not a welcoming space and should have know based on the no strollers, no unaccompanied children and no pizza sign as you walked in. Glen Ellyn is a family friendly town, get with the program! On top of that the food is meh for the price.
First time going there, and I have been around Glen ellyn for more than 15 years. Expensive but the food quality is really good and
I’ve eaten here a few times, and one thing is consistent the welcoming atmosphere, that both husband and wife have when you eat here. The food is good. It’s old fashion, Italian comfort food and will not disappoint. The atmosphere has been updated to bed now there is a covered area so you could still eat if it’s raining and there’s even some heating and fancy keep you cool. I like eating here and supporting small local but I also enjoy the choice of affordable wines, Italian beer and the dishes that they offer. I’ve been here several times and we will to come visit.
