Shannon's Irish Pub - Glen Ellyn

One of my top picks in Glen Ellyn, the Shepherd's Pie and a Guinness are a must-try.

This restaurant is probably better if you stick to beer or whiskey. We ordered some cocktails and calamari to end our evening, but unfortunately, the cocktails were not good at all. Surprisingly, even a simple gin and tonic was messed up. The calamari was also disappointing; the breading didn't stay on the calamari and the calamari itself was too tough.

I love Shannon’s, the service is great and the ambiente is wonderful. I love stopping in for a pint!

I got the nachos, which were good but not great. It lacked the flavor explosion that good nachos should have. Friend got the pulled pork and it was a bit chewy. My upsidedown pineapple martini was great, though. Service and atmosphere were good. I wouldn't intentionally come back but I'd go if someone else suggested it.

Loved the Irish concept. The food was good. However the portion size didn’t equal the cost. People were friendly
