Rustica Deli Cafe - Glen Eira

I was surprised how delicious the hot chocy was. I'm definitely back for another. Maybe. I try some of the other offers. The caramel was also pretty good.

Loved Rustica Deli, while I worked in the area, great coffee and ice cream, the food is fantastic and fresh, huge bagels and focaccia at good prices and they have stroopwaffels.

I will not agree with some of these reviews, but I love the place. I'm from New York and there's nothing New York than Deli, better or worse. It cannot be easy because of the eclectic mixture of goods. You can get better bagels, desserts elsewhere, etc., but in Rustica you can always get exactly what you want when there are 2 bags of coffee for 10 dollars, fresh coffee or syroop wafers. Cold cuts are good. Bread is good. Cheese selection, etc. is good. The sandwiches look great (but I didn't have one) and it's cheaper than all other locals. The staff must be selected hand as they are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Rustica is well used on Glenhuntly Rd. I stop every 2-3 days. It keeps the other local companies honest with pricing.

Where should I start? The delicious pleasures of Rustica are not to be missed! At the entrance you will be greeted by the fantastic hectic of an authentic Delis. From cheap, but (very tasty macarons to the excellent chai lattes, Rustica Cafe and Deli... is a heaven of pastries! PS Are you watching the David Bowie reference in the title? We miss you Ziggy!

I absolutely adore this restaurant. I visit frequently for a toasted bagel with turkey (my favorite) and a cup of coffee. The staff is fantastic, the menu has a wide variety of options, and the food is always delicious and fresh.
