Food: A fantastic range of Asian food. Their biggest advantage here is the choice of dishes and cuisines. Food was well cooked, and well flavoured. I loved how this dishes had lots of colour too them. They looked really appealing and portion sizes were generous. Atmosphere/Service: Kotaraya is a fairly large restaurant, and offers a good number of tables for larger groups. It always seems to be busy in the evenings, and has a pleasant atmosphere. Service is a little hit and miss, they really need to work on their organisation with this and ensure they are approaching tables in the order they arrived, but staff are nice. Would I recommend it: Yes, I was surprised given the variety of food available how well cooked and well presented it was. I also thought it was very affordable for the portion sizes given. I'd recommend booking if you plan to go in the evenings, particularly at weekends.

We celebrated my grandmother's 85th birthday at this restaurant last weekend. Despite being quite noisy that night, this is a fantastic Asian restaurant with a long history. They offer a delicious mix of Chinese, Malaysian, and Thai dishes that cater to all Asian cuisine lovers. The service is quick and the waitstaff are polite and attentive. The restaurant is conveniently located on Glenhuntly Rd, but if you're driving, be sure to give yourself some extra time for parking to avoid any frustration.
