Jerry's Milk Bar - Glen Eira

Jerry's is a nice walk with our dog from our place in St Kilda, and it's worth the walk. The coffee is arguably the best in the area. The food is consistently good and the menu is always a highlight with the original newspaper from the article al of the Beatles in Melbourne!!The owner is a no nonsense, good guy who makes sure that the standards at Jerry's never fall.

We called in on a Sunday - on entering we were a little dubious about the vegan/vegetarian and whether it was to be too "natural" for us. But not wanting to be rude and walk out we stayed and ordered and oh my goodness so pleased we did - this was one of the best breakfasts we've had out recently! My French toast was amazing and the child's dippy eggs went down a treat. We have definitely added this to our return list. Yum.

The coffee stood comparison with a local barister's who has been in the world top 10, good low fat milk carefully treated. Enough said. Banter not for the thin skinned - part of the charm. Well worth walking up from the beach for a coffee. Friendly service. Didnt eat, so cant comment on food.

I recently dined here for brunch. I ordered the corn and coriander fritters and it was an extremely small portion. They covered it in alot of crispy kale to make it look more substantial that it actually was. To top it off, I found a blonde hair in my food. I won't be returning despite the staff being friendly.

We have been to Jerry's many times as we used to live just around the corner.We still go there albeit we have moved away from the Elwood area.Service is always great
