Rather, the lower average is that some of them were expediently seasoned, cooking times were not observed and the pumpkin soup was so often stretched that it was no longer visible on the basis of the color that could be visual and tasteful for a soup. Not recommended!
Superior kitchen, superior service, superior price....essen very good
A fine restaurant with excellent service. The location is located in a particularly beautiful environment. Lake Laach is an attractive destination and the introduction to this high-quality restaurant is a highlight. The food was very good! Great compliment to the terrace and the perfect dessert!
An excursion of our company with 30 people led us to the Eifel volcano. The lava caves of Mendig have impressed us. I can really recommend a visit – our guide showed us and explained the story by way of example. Basalt Bergwerk Afterwards we drove to Laach Lake and to the abbey Maria Laach – also a rewarding destination. Abtei For the coffee break we visited the Klosterschänke after the registration. It belongs to the complex of the hotel “Seehotel Maria Laach”. A very noble house with several gastronomic parts or offers. Entrance This special facility was a self-service restaurant. This may even be advantageous for larger groups, but I personally do not believe this kind. The niche with the products and equipment is located directly at the entrance: coffee machines, shop windows with cakes, beverage output, buffet counter, tray frame, return system – and the cash register. Theke Man takes a tray, invites his food and goes to the payment station. We even had reserved places – but the whole place has the charm of a second-class waiting room in a provincial city at the station to use a picture. But the store is running, the concept comes in, almost all places were occupied. Part of the guest room Cleanliness The tables are probably deleted after departure. But most customers should take care of order, as they usually place the tray BraV on a shelf. The cake was pretty delicious. The Danube wave was fresh and juicy. But the cream was partly relatively one-dimensional in the mouth; had no sustainable aroma. The places with cherry filling have changed. The chocolate as a finish had little cocoa content. The fruit cake consisting of berries was plentiful. A kind of cake casting made it stop. This pastry also tasted very good. The structure was also comparable to other pieces of apple cake, sprout cake, etc.: Below was a biscuit. In the middle a cream block was always partly with pieces. A further coating consisting of fruit, chocolate or other components, for example layers, followed as above. Berry cake Drinks On the coffee machine you can choose several directions: espresso, filter coffee, milk coffee etc. The large cup of coffee was hot, not particularly strong and full. Sugar or milk could be added immediately at the station. On the tables there were no more cartons with ingredients. Conclusion 2 – hardly again. But I'm not a friend of self-service and the cake pieces were too constructed. It was also not a café, but a bakery that also offers salads and small dishes. But the encouragement of the tourists punishes me more from a lie. 1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – when it returns, 4 – again happy, 5 – absolutely again – after “Kuechenreise” visit date: 22.
