Is the manageress still there who is not very friendly?. Thinking of taking family there on holiday from USA Thanks

Dropped in on Thursday 14 Feb for lunch , the monster behind the bar informed us there 's nae food very very disappointing ,she 's a howler ,face like a halloween mask

This bar has a great public house feel and a nice variety of drinks which normally would be just a good place to relax and plan our next move as tourists. But Nina and our favorite customer Sandy were great conversationalists so we stayed much longer than expected and had a fantastic time. Both are knowledgeable of the area so we got good information while we were there.

0/10 for hospitality Came in for a pre gig drink expecting the place to be welcoming and good craic. Couldn't be further from the truth. It was very quiet, another small group with a disabled chap in a wheelchair. They were also attending the gig . We were chatting and excited about the gig . A very brief sing song started and the wee crabbit barmaid started , as this is a live music venue I'm sure singing is common place, she accused all of us of being rowdy and apparently drunk. Then went outside to call someone ,loudly berating all the guests including the guy in the wheelchair . She was Completely over the top and on a power mad trip. All the customers left and were warmly welcomed in the islay Inn. Never again will we enter this pub and the owner needs to be made aware of how she behaves to paying customers .A Disgrace.
