Bidra med feedbackLocated just off Buchanan Street, in close proximity to Princes Square Shopping Mall, we decided to stop by this restaurant for drinks on a rainy Thursday afternoon. We were seated in a booth and warmly greeted with a smile. Our drinks arrived promptly and we were pleasantly surprised when the friendly bartender, with silver hair and glasses, came over without us needing to reorder and asked if we wanted the same again. This level of service was excellent. Overall, it was a delightful little indulgence with reasonable prices.
I stopped by for a quick drink and ended up staying for a while. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. The five test tubes for £5 were fantastic, I would definitely recommend them. I will definitely be coming back!
Sorry to say that I kind of expected more from the menu and name of the bar the test tubes seem like a fun idea but I think they might want to have a better variety unfortunately, some of them tasted the same, but on a good note the staff were incredibly lovely and they did make the experience that bit better
This was our first visit to Glasgow since lockdown, and we decided to have lunch at The Lab. We started with nachos as an appetizer, followed by baked potato with cheese, a burger, and chilli con carne. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we overall enjoyed the food. However, our daughter found the burger a bit dry. We hope to return to The Lab soon.
6 of us ended up her after a lovely lunch in Royal Exchange Sq. The place managed to suck out any convivial energy we had built up. Staff obviously wished they were elsewhere. I don’t know how some establishments integrate Covid rules into their workings seamlessly, yet others become snarling, judgemental pains. I’m a Glaswegian and hate leaving rotten reviews for any local business, but this was really really horrible.
