Taste Of India - Glasgow City

I used to order from this takeout restaurant frequently, but after a few negative experiences, I stopped. However, I decided to give them another try because they were the only place open late. I placed an order and was informed it would take around 40 minutes. I called to check on the status of my order as I had guests waiting. The first time I called, I was told the food was on its way as the driver had just left. After waiting a bit longer, I called again for an update and the guy's attitude was terrible, showing no regard for customer service. It's surprising that this place is still in business if that's how they treat their customers. I ended up cancelling my order because of the staff's poor attitude. The driver showed up at my door with the food anyway, but I informed him that I had cancelled and he left in a huff. Best of luck to them, but if they continue to speak to customers in that manner, I doubt they will attract much business.

I have been a patron of this restaurant for many years, but I must admit that I am disappointed with the quality of the food I have been receiving lately. I ordered a prawn cocktail tonight and was surprised to find tomatoes in it, despite specifically requesting for no tomatoes. The pizza was also overcooked and crispy, leading me to consider trying a different restaurant. Whenever I have tried to address these issues, all I receive are excuses instead of a satisfactory resolution. It would be nice to enjoy a meal with my family without someone always waiting for a fresh or correct order to arrive.

I have been to this restaurant a few times, but I will not be going back. The portions are small, and despite paying extra for Chicken Tikka, I received plain chicken. I have also had issues with receiving incorrect change, as on two occasions I was shortchanged £1 and only received the correct amount after questioning it. Make sure to double check your change here.

Me and my family have use this place for years and never had a problem with it but recently with new staff it has not been nice food at all really cold tastes bland food missing from orders and still paying for it when calling back up about these issues staff really rude and hang phone up and that’s now been a few occasions not be using it again or any of my family .

The food is the best I have ever had but when you call for a carry out the person on the phone is always too busy serving at the counter and does not listen to your order and when you have keep repeating yourself he becomes rude and aggressive. This happens every time I call it’s a shame that the service is not as good as the food
